Lim: The property market to trend upward based on the rise in loan applications this year

KUALA LUMPUR: LBS Bina Group Bhd predicts that the real estate market will expand in an upward direction due to an increase in loan applications thus far this year.

The real estate developer is planning more ambitious strategic plans to grow and introduce new projects in the coming months, according to Tan Sri Ir. Lim Hock San, executive chairman of the company.

"We have launched RM1.4 billion worth of projects, and we are on track to launch an estimated RM2.09 billion across Klang Valley, Johor, Pahang, and Perak. We'll continue to maintain an optimistic perspective on the property market," he said.

"We will adopt the right strategies and stay abreast of the latest trends. We have continuously played our part in spurring the property market's recovery over the past years. As we move into the second half of 2023, we continue to enhance stakeholders' values and achieve sustainable business growth, bringing LBS to greater heights," he said in a statement after the company's shareholders meeting, which was held virtually today.
